URUGUAYAN GUARDIA METROPOLITANA FRENCH M 35 TANK STEEL HELMET FOR CITROEN KEGRESSE P28. CASQUE CHARS M 35 MADE SPECIALLY FOR URUGUAY. ONLY 10 HELMETS LIKE THIS WAS MADE IN FRANCE. FOR MACHINE GUN TANK CITROEN KEGRESSE P 28. ONLY 50 TANKS LIKE THIS WERE MANUFACTURED IN FRANCE. AND ONLY 3 WERE ACQUIRED BY URUGUAY. EVERY TANK HAD 2 CREW. THE TOTAL WERE ONLY 6 CREW FOR URUGUAY. (AS CAN SEE IN PICTURE NUMBER 2). THESE HELMETS WAS RECEIVED IN URUGUAY IN YEAR 1936. 6 FOR INITIAL DOTATION AND 4 FOR REPLACEMENT. THESE TANKS WERE ACTIVE UNTIL THE YEARS 1950s, AND ONLY ONE SURVIVED IN THE METROPOLITAN GUARD MUSEUM OF MONTEVIDEO , AS CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES NUMBER 10,11,12. EXTREMELY SCARCE , ONLY WAS MADE 10 LIKE THIS ALL OVER THE WORLD!! MANUFACTURED IN FRANCE , YEAR 1936. AS CAN SEE THESE HELMETS WAS MADE SPECIALLY WITH PLAIN FRONT FLAMING GRENADE EMBLEM IN FRONT. UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE NOT SURVIVED. THE URUGUAYAN METROPOLITAN GUARD WAS CREATED IN THE YEAR 1935. SO, BESIDES OTHER SPECIAL EQUIPMENT , HE BOUGHT IN FRANCE 10 M35 STEEL TANK HELMETS. THEY ARE EXTREMELY RARES AND EXTREMELY SCARCES , BECAUSE AS I SAID BEFORE, ONLY 10 COPIES WAS RECEIVED IN URUGUAY. ASSIGNED TO GUARD METROPOLITAN. The M115 Panoramic Telescope is used with the M137 Telescope Mount for indirect fire. It is a 4-power, fixed-focus telescope, with a 10 degree field of view. The telescope has an azimuth mil counter mechanism in place of azimuth scales. The counter registers azimuth travel in quarter-mil units. The horizontal eyepiece segment of the elbow assembly is extended so that a soldier is able to sight without interference from the counter assembly. The reticle is illuminated by light entering a red glass window or by a reticle lamp in original war time condition.
