This is an interesting example of a one-of-a-kind Field Made Customized German Trench Knife. It is mounted with a blade that measures 7 3/4 inches in length that reflects good honest wear with crude sharpening as well as a recent cleaning. The copper hilt is very nicely adorned with an eagle head pommel and flowing backstrap that fits snuggly to the thumb’s grip. The copper hilt is also hand-stamped with a name along with some markings on the underside. The simple black lacquered scabbard is lightly scuffed but does remain in good serviceable condition and has no dings. Overall measuring 11 5/8 inches in length.
