Rare Uruguayan Model 1900 Bayonet w/ Scabbard. Rare bayonet, FN Mauser rifle. Blade and scabbard are from French 1886 Lebel, with new quillioned cross guard and a brass hilt. Serial 818 on top of hilt is only marking. This is one of the half rivet versions with only partial rivet holding the crossguard and pommel, there is also a full rivet version. Stains on hilt are superficial only. I make every possible effort to accurately and closely describe items including condition, age, and any other pertinent information but it is my opinion. Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWII German Navy Model 1923 officer sword. Left side of blade also has the German Navy eagle M property marking. Sword is marked N584 on the reverse guard, which is a Nordsee (Baltic Sea) Fleet inventory number. 30 ½ blade has nice original bright finish with just a little scattered brown freckling. Remaining metal is original gilt showing light wear. Sword features a lion head pommel and an anchor design on the folding guard. Grip has tight wire wrap and no damage. Sword is complete with correct original not. Fitted in correct original leather scabbard that has brass fittings. Leather shows some normal wear, stitching is nice and tight. Throat is a little loose. Scabbard is complete with braided leather hanger cord and is also marked eagle M and N584 on the throat, matching the sword. British Enfield bayonet model 1907 mfg for King Rama IV as model 1920 for the Wild TIger Corps. Went along with 10,00 BSA mfg #1Mk. This has the correct scabbard where the leather was replaced with metal that was welded to the original metal ends of what would be the typical 1907 scabbard. This is an example of a French Trench Knife, Model 1916 also known as “Le Vengeur de 1870″ and was manufactured by the maker S. O as marked on one side of the ricasso. It is mounted with a nice blade which measures 6 1/2 inches in length. The blade has survived in nice condition with only some minor surface scratches, light sharpening and minor stains. The wooden hilt is simple in design but nicely carved, remains healthy and is tightly fitted with a steel crossguard. This particular Trench Knife most likely saw action during WWII and the story is that the leather sheath was constructed from the leather of a German Fighter Pilot’s seat.
