He received his medical degree from Bellevue Medical College in 1904; he was a contract surgeon with the US Army, a surgeon for the West Point Football Squad, a medical- military observer in the French Forces in France, attaché to the French Army in Paris, and a commanding officer at a field hospital during the Meuse Argonne campaign after the war. 1 framed photo of the Col. Approximately 13 3/4 x 10 3/4 inches framed. 2 a metal desk name plate – approximately 8 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches. 3 an engraved silver plated serving tray – approximately 29 x 18 3/4 inches. 4 a framed institutional medal from the Italian government dated 1921, hand signed by Luigi Gasparotto, Senator of Law Member of Parliament – approximately 20 1/4 x 14 3/8 inches framed. 5 and, a framed Medal of Honor from France dated 1919 – approximately 20 7/8 x 15 1/8 inches framed. Album features 280 captioned color cards with gold border depicting all aspects of the Reichswehr, to include Army Infantry, Mountain troops, Cavalry, Artillery, Engineers, Transportation, and Signal Branches, and includes training and barracks life. Also included is Railroad Artillery and the early development of the Panzer Forces. Thirty-four color cards deal with the German Navy (Reichsmarine). Also a superb uniform reference book. Silver cover features, in the center, a gilt Reichswehr eagle surmounting a black shield. Complete with all colored tobacco cards! Fair exterior and very good interior.
