Original Italian PAI Fascist Era M16 Adrian Helmet Polizia dell’Africa Italiana. Referred to as the. It is a two piece construction compared to the French made Adrian of four sections. This helmet has the crest spot welded and being rivetless eliminates some of the weaknesses at different points. The color is deep-green of the Italian PAI of the 1930s. Overall in good original condition, although the liner and chin strap have been replaced the paint appears original. A PAI eagle is mounted on the front with two screws securing it. For sale is a so-called deck chronometer of the Kriegsmarine WW2. Watches of this type were used on submarines and warships. The diameter without crown is about 57mm, the visible dial diameter is 49mm. Only 1500 pieces of this model were produced, of course some of these watches did not survive the war or went down with their ships. The number of watches still existing today is probably much smaller. What makes this timepiece extremly rare are the original 3. Although there is no date on the hat, the year can be determined by the symbol on the hat, which is that of a hammer and plow. This was the symbol of Soviet Russia prior to 1922, when the classic hammer and sickle symbol became their new official emblem. This hat is leather, belonging to a member of the Cheka (All-Russian Extraordinary Commission – established in December 1917). The deeds of the Cheka are well-known and they were even despised by many communists upon their creation. Dzerzhinsky once said that in the Cheka there were two types of people,’sinners’ and’saints’, but acknowledged that unfortunately’we have too many sinners’. It is in relatively good condition considering how leather ages. It is 100% original. This is an extremely rare item. You will never see another hat like it ever again. These are a pair of original WWI era US Navy Lieutenant junior grade line officer formal dress epaulettes. Extremely difficult to find. At that time, ensigns didn’t wear bars. ORIGINAL PRE WWII 1930s / 40 USMC NAMED GROUPING LATER WIA GUADALCANAL. Bought from veterans estate. He served from 1935 to 1945. Started out in the NYNM, Marine Corps Reserves at New Rochelle NY. Active duty starting in 1940 with the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, 1st Division. He landed on Guadalcanal November 4, 1942. He was wia the 21st when he was wounded by Japanese machine gunner putting a bullet through his shoulder. He served through 1945 but did not go back to the Pacific. Lot of pre war USMC, tunic – named to another Marine, shirt – named – has some age browning, overseas cap – named. Trousers with some age browning. The orange star (as I believe) means that the hat belonged to somebody enlisted in the artillery regiment of the Red Army. Although there is no date on the budenovka, the year can be determined by the symbol on the hat, which is that of a hammer and plow. This was the symbol of Soviet Russia prior to 1922, when the classic hammer and sickle symbol became their new official emblem. Trotsky once complained about Red Army soldiers, saying they “They would rather give their life than clean their rifle”. To the Red Army’s credit, they overcame near impossible odds to defeat the Whites in the Russian Civil War. You can tell by the feel of the hat this it is 100% original. The cloth that made this hat is no longer able to be produced anywhere in the world. The hat is in outstanding condition for its age, definitely museum quality.
