Antique Spanish Sword for Artillery Officer Model 1926. Antique Spanish sword for artillery officer model 1926, made in Spain nearly one hundred years old and in fine condition. This singular piece comes with its original steel scabbard, finely preserved and with an ancient leather garment and two light-brown colored cord braids. The sword mounts a steel blade with an engraved rectangular mark near the cross-guard. The hilt is made of black solid wood; the wood bears a hand-carved diamond pattern which improves the grip. The wooden pieces are attached to the base by rivets. The D-guard is made of golden metal, with ample bowl-shaped cross-guard decorated with a flaming bomb (symbol of the artillery corps) and openwork motifs. The sabers blade is made of steel and is well preserved; at the top it bears an engraved mark with the inscription ARTILLERÍA TOLEDO, together with the coat of arms of the Royal Factory of Arms located in the Spanish city. The hilt shows off a fine design, being entirely made of brass and decorated with handmade embossed and engraved motifs. The cross-guard is ample and is adorned with the embossed symbol of the artillery corps, a flaming bottle or bomb. It is trimmed by a circular quillon with an engraved flower. Of course, to be completely sincere, its mainly impossible to give a full guarantee in the working condition of an antique working machine with over or more than 100 years. Many things can happen inside an antique mechanism and todays perfectly working spring, could be the futures failure as far away as in ten years or as near as the next month. If necessary, we restore and/or repair and finally clean and/or adjust, all our antique machines, and if its there’s a defect or malfunctions, its clearly indicated in the description, video or pictures. We try to have all our pieces in perfect working conditions, but if a disaster occurs and the item gets out of order or damaged, for any reason, we can help to solve the problem or to help to repair it or to restore it. We work with first class professionals that can restore from antique medieval paintings to 13th Century silver, other metals as iron, copper and bronze, to any kind of wood. Original Eibar steel Helmet Mk34-38 from Spain, Spanish Civil War. The Eibar helmet is named for the Basque city where they were manufactured. Its officially known as the Model 1934 (some say M38 as well) and is one of the harder to find helmets from the Spanish Civil War. The front has an attachment for a badge, meaning it was used by the troops of general Franco. It has a nice chinstrap and smooth original color.
