Fully marked tag dates jacket to 12/26/1934 which coincides with his time spent in Quantico, VA. The epaulettes were found with jacket but may have been added at a later date in Groff’s career, since the leather straps are a tad short to fasten to jacket and safety pins were used to hold in place. No pants were found, just the jacket. Condition of jacket is very good with no moth holes, no smell and very clean. The inside collar red fabric has a partial tear and will need to be re-sewn/repaired(see close up photo). Outer gold applied collar will need to be re-sewn in a few areas, as it is loose in spots.
