WRA over OHD visible, but not square or Ordinace wheel. 16 stamp in grip visible. What looks like a crack in front of escuteon does not seem to be. Any addtional information would be appreciated. Can include buttplate, recoil lug with screw and front band spring if desired.
This is a Brazilian VZ 24 JC rifle made under contract by the arsenal at Brno (ZB) in Czechoslovakia. The “JC” is short for Jiznà CÃna or “South China” in Czech. But more on this later. It is a standard length, large ring 1898 pattern action.
