We are pleased to offer a handsome silverplated tea pot made for the United States Navy by Reed and Barton. The pot is engraved on one side with a fouled anchor and USN. There is a gadrooned band around the middle of the pot and the acorn finial is gadrooned as well. With its ebony handle, it is an elegant piece that you would be proud to display. Reed & Barton’s mark of a schooner dates it to 1937, prior to World War II. It’s a very nice find. We have other Navy silverplated flatware and holloware so please check our other items. Condition: Very good to excellent – no silver wear or loss other than a few minor use scratches. It has been hand polished so there will be no surprises. Any dark spots in the photos are reflections only and it is very clean inside. 5 1/4″ tall, 10 1/2″ from spout to handle. Its capacity is 3 pints.
