Antique 1920 USSR Military GP-2 Gas Mask WW2 Civil Defence Vintage Russian Army
I’m really proud to introduce this very rare example of history and war – on of the first soviet gas masks GP-2. Unique looking and very rare nowadays, extremely hard to find. This one is a first type (early issue) of GP-2 with the eye-lenses attached to the mask with the tape and not stitched as in a later issue of 1930s. The mask made from canvas and leather, head straps made from fabric and are in bad condition due to long storage. In few places (please see pictures), the face part still in very good condition and there is only some minor tear and rust from storage. It will be a real proud and a top-shelf item for any gas mask collector, or ww2 military collector. Well worth of investing as well as this model is extremely rare on the market.
