This is a very nice example of a Swiss Army Officer Dagger that was manufactured by ELSENER SCHWYZ as well marked on the ricasso. It is mounted with a beautiful blade that measures 8 1/4 inches in length which remains in very good condition with only very minor blemishes. There is also a serial number on the backside of the ricasso. The wooden grip wears plated metal fittings which all remain in very nice condition as well. The metal scabbard wears a black painted finish that also remains nice with light scuffing and a leather metal fitted belt clip. Still present, is the beautiful original red and white portepee and a very pretty cloth insignia mounted upon the hilt. Overall measuring 14 1/2 inches in length. From an old estate, here is a very nice IMPERIAL REICHSMARINE GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER. Nice fire gold glit hilt finish with open crown pommel and scarce 1919 style crossguard with fouled anchors on both sides and has red felt washer. Celluloid over wood gold wire wrapped grip that has no damage. 7 7/8 inch double fullered polished blade is in excellent condition with no nicks or sharpening. Scabbard has scarce reefer knot bands and is dent free. Reichsmarine Knot is in super condition with no freying (hard to find in this condition). This is an example of a Chinese Nationalist Army Dress Dagger. It is mounted with a straight blade that measures 9 5/8 inches in length. The blade is uncleaned with light surface staining, nevertheless is strong and in good condition. It wears pretty detailed brass fittings which are nicely embossed with a hilt that is now faded and weathered in its condition. The metal scabbard also wears pretty detailed brass fittings and although has a few dings, does remain in serviceable condition. Overall measuring 15 3/4 inches in length. This is a very nice example of an Italian Eagle Head Dress Dagger Pugnali that dates from the late World War II Era. It is mounted with a blade that measures 6 3/4 inches in length which remains in good condition with some minor surface scratches and minor blemishes. The lovely black painted carved wooden grip remains very healthy and with its original twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The hilt is crowned with a wonderfully well detailed eagle head pommel and backstrap that also remain nice with most of their original finish still present as well. The blade is steel, straight, flat, hexagonal. Two cutting edges polished, no heel. The handle is round, wooden, plastic-topped orange. By spiral grooves handle wrapped with wire. At the bottom of a cylindrical sleeve, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Spherical head handle, molded together with the upper nut. Decorated on both sides of the relief image of a s and an ornament from oak leaves. The head is screwed onto the blade shank and has a flat circular top a button. Cross-cast, from the front side in the form of a flying eagle carrying a s in its claws. On the reverse side has a cross dotted background. All metal parts are cast from aluminum hilt. The scabbard is made of metal, solid, surface covered with small dots. The end of the sheath round, with three embossed belts, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Dimensions: Overall length: 430 mm, blade length: 255 mm, width of the blade: 18 mm.
