Very Nice Dutch Colonial Police Klewang Cutlass Sword
This is a good example of a Dutch Colonial Police Klewang Cutlass Short Sword. It is mounted with a slightly curved, clipped point blade that measures 24 5/8 inches in length which although shows to have received a cleaning, does remain in nice condition with nice markings on either side of the ricasso and only light stains. The hilt wears brass riveted wooden grips that are healthy and remain nice and tight and the guard continues to wear its lovely blued finish as well as its brass police tag.
