1920-30’s Airship Pilot’s wing marked Sterling, full size, pin back, no maker’s mark. This is the traditional design authorized by regulation and a copy of the design authorized by the Government when they created the “From Official Die” concept in the mid 20’s. I believe this is a Bailey, Banks & Biddle wing-for certain it’s their pattern. Don’t let this one slip by! It’s a good deal at this price. Just one of inkFrog’s. From a recent estate sale is an old photo of the US Navy airship Los Angeles. The photo measures about 10 1/4″ by 6 1/4″ and is marked on the bottom right corner for R. I believe this is at the Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, N. The photo has a stain along the top edge and a small crease adjacent to the stain. There is a small tear along the right edge near the top and another small tear about 1 1/2 from the bottom edge. This small tear has at tiny chip in the image where the tear starts. The bottom right corner has been chipped off. The Los Angeles was in service from about 1924 until 1932 when it was decommissioned. It was broken up in 1939. This is an old photo not a reproduction. Unless otherwise specified my items are preowned and vintage – they are not new. I will describe any damage or problems aside from what would be considered normal wear – but you should expect some wear on them. Here is a vintage Sterling Airship Airman Wings in sterling. The wings are 3 1/8 th inches across. Marked Pasquali & Co. Sterling on the back. They have some discoloration from age and Patena.
