Romanian Air Force Bravery/Merit Gold Cross with Swords (Type 2 1938) and Case of Issue. It is bronze gilt, approx. 43mm (width) x 51mm(height) with ribbon and in extremely fine condition. Case interior stamped “Monetaria Nationala” and “Virtutea Aeronautica Crucea de Aur”. No maker mark on badge. Ribbon is period piece that meets black light test (no glow under UV light).
