These KNIL-helmets were manufactured (post-1941, pre-1945) in USA (Milwaukee Saddlery Company, Milsco) after the occupation of Holland by the Germans and was used against the Japanese in 1941. It still has its original KNIL liner and chin strap and neck sun protective leather. Refinished outside in the original color. No Marks or signs. See also my other advertisements. UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS PRIVATE FIRST CLASS PATCH DISPLAY. These patches have some wear from normal use. The patches have not been examined out of the frame. The frame is approximately 19 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. The crossed rifles patches are yellow silk on dark blue, scarlet silk on forestry green kersey, and brown silk on khaki suiting.
