Iraq Order of Two Rivers (Wisam Al Rafidain) was awarded by the King of Iraq, King Faisal I. It was named after the two rivers in Iraq the Euphrates and the Tigris rivers. The order was established in 1922 and ended in 1958 when the Kingdom period of Iraq ended. This order medal is one of the most beautifully designed order medals. Made by the English medal maker Garrard & Co. Garrard was founded in 1721 and appointed crown jewelers to Her Majesty Queen Victoria. This medal is the rank of Commander Civil Division and in the original case of issue. 4 inches height (10 Centimeters) including wreath suspension. 2.5 inches wide(6.5 Centimeters). In perfect shape with no enamel loss. Also has the original neck ribbon. Box is 7 inches high, 4.25 inches wide. This item is an original period item and not a replication.
