1930’s 3rd Annual Peace Poster Contest Submission of Framed Poster & Glass Front
This poster was a submission for the 3rd Annual Peace Poster Contest in the 1930s’. It has an identifying stamp at the lower right corner with the name “Edna” next to it. It certainly has seen better days – as it has a long tare at the “W” in war as well as the lower left corner bottom. Also noted is the moisture damage that is seen by the dark areas and shapes on the poster. We acquired this from a local estate sale with no other information provided. Measurements in frame: 24 3/4″ wide by 31″ tall. Governor’s Antiques and Architectural Salvage has been in business for over 50 years. One of central Virginia’s best kept secrets, we are right outside of Richmond in Mechanicsville, VA. We appreciate the opportunity to earn your business.
