Nice Japanese Late War Naval Kai Gunto Officer Sword
This is a good example of a Late War Japanese Naval Officer’s Kai Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a lovely Arsenal stainless steel blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 23 1/2 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface scratches and the tang wears an arsenal anchor stamp. The hilt and all the fittings remain in very nice original condition as well. The wooden scabbard is black textured finished and also remains very nice with just a little minor scuffing.
