22 POLISH POLAND ORDER OF THE WHITE EAGLE, GRAND CROSS, Polands highest decoration. The cross is made in sterling gold gilt and enamels in three parts design, 72 mm, star 75 mm. Collectors should be aware that the II Republic of Poland awarded only 95 White Eagles before WWII. I have no idea how many were made in France and for whom. I estimate that no more then 20. The Panansiuk example is of much better quality then the current replicas. Very rare French production of the 1930s. The free listing tool.
