VERY NICE JAPANESE ARMY OFFICER SWORD GENDAI BLADE
This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army Officer’s Sword. It is mounted with a Gendai blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 25 1/2 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice original condition with a lovely temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The tang is signed which translates to “Nagamura KIYONOBU “. All the fittings have also survived in very nice, clean condition. The black lacquered metal scabbard also remains in very good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 38 3/4 inches in length.
