Post WWI USMC Marine Officer Collar EGA Dress Pin D. Snyder Collection
This is one of the earliest patterns of large production officer emblems, with the pattern being introduced around 1912 and worn through the 1930s. This particular emblem is most likely 1920s-30s, as it sports a c-clasp and machine etched fret work. This pattern is often associated with the firm of Gems on, however this particular model is unmarked. Worn on the collar of the officer dress blues, as well as the shoulder epaulettes of the mess dress uniform. I will be listed several pieces from Mr. Snyder’s collection in the coming days/weeks.
