1920’s U. S. Navy sword with portepee & scabbard
It belonged to Ernest Washington Lamons. Blade has the officer’s name on one side and a spread winged Eagle on the other. I was told he graduated the Naval academy in the mid 1920’s. See the pictures and do whatever research you can. Sword & scabbard appear to be in good shape except for some surface rust. The item “1920’s U. S.
