Original WWII Walther P38 holster hard-shell ewx 1943 WaA 195
Original very good condition 1943 Type 1 P38 Walther hard-shell holster by ewx Franz u. Karl Voegels Lederwarenfabrik in Koln. Karl Voegels Lederwarenfabrik was a very famous maker of both P38 and P08 holsters. They manufactured P38 holsters between 1942 and 1944. Nowadays the 1943 holster are much rarer than those made in 1941 and 1942. The holster has a fold-over top secured with a leather strap through a metal loop. The top has a metal reinforced plate which fits over the loop, all three are in very good secure condition. The long side of the holster has a stitched spare magazine pouch. The reverse of the holster has two leather stitched belt loops, both secure. Between the belt loops there is a’ewx’ stamp and 1943 date with WaA195 proof. There is a’P38′ stamp to the right of the second belt loop. Inside, the holster retains the’pull’ strap. The holster retains a firm shape. Please refer to the photos for condition and more details.
