German Clamshell Stag Bayonet. Matching Numbers
Hello, This is a ww2 Stag Bayonet. The maker is Carl Eickhorn , Solingen. The Frog is made by Carl Henkel, Bielefeld. This Bayonet is signed–Initialed. 408, on pommel and P. 408 is on the Scabbard. The Dagger and the Scabbard have Matching Numbers. The sheath has a number 17 at top and the dagger has a number 17 on back bone of blade up by cross guard. Stag scales are very nice. Lots of Engraving , Has some staining and some light pitting. Look at all pictures there part of this Add. Very Rare and Collectible. Don’t really know much about this Bayonet.
