This was the second helmet developed by the Arsenal of the Artillery in Trubia. It was submitted in 1926 for examination. Spain officially adopted the model in 1930. At once 20.000 pieces were ordered. The helmet is made in 1.1 mm thick Röchling steel. This helmet was also known as the helmet with wings (con ala). The model was widely used in the Spanish Civil war by both parties. This one was used in the Spanish Civil War on the francoist side (attachment for a badge as the francoist party had).
