Nice Russian Soviet Shashka Sword Model 1927
This is a good example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1927. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 3/4 inches in length which remains in good condition with minor surface staining and continues to wear very nice markings as well as is dated “37”. The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that remains healthy and tight and wears beautiful brass fittings with a pommel which is nicely stamped with the Soviet emblem. The wooden scabbard is brass fitted and although has a little scuffing, does remain in nice serviceable condition and continues to wear its Mosin-Nagant bayonet.
