Very Nice Russian Soviet Shashka Sword Model 1927
This is a very nice example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1927. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 32 inches in length which remains in extremely nice condition with just some minor surface staining and continues to wear very nice, clear markings. The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that also remains healthy and tight and wears beautifully patined brass fittings with a pommel which is nicely engraved with the Soviet emblem. The wooden scabbard is brass and metal fitted and although has a little light scuffing, does remain in very nice serviceable condition as well. Overall measuring 38 3/4 inches in length.
