U. S. Cavalry M1926 Saddle Bags (0115158)
These are M1904 U. Cavalry Saddle Bags produced by Long in 1917. They were MODIFIED for use with the modified McClellan saddle in the late 1920’s and used to the end of the cavalry in WWII. The bags had been modified by the addition of an external pocket on the outside of the bag which can be seen under the closed flap. Bags are complete with liners and two condiment bags.
