It contains a lot of very interesting information about the Jungmadel in the BDM (Bund Deutscher Madel or League of German Girls), its structure, tasks, their runes on the pennants, many photographs and illustrations, songs, a calendar for the year 1937 with room for entries each day as well as period advertisings in the rear. The Legation Guard News Annual, 1931. Volume 1, Number 5. Printed in Peking, China : The Standard Press, 1931? USMC, Editor -in- Chief. Measures about 11&1/2″ by 8&1/2″ , Pages numbered to 85, plus advertising. Basically a yearbook of the tour and activities and history. Many black & white photos. Has a puncture through the entire book but, with no loss of text, as the pages have been pressed down over the years. The cloth binding is very worn and a bit faded and is coming apart and there are some loose pages but it is complete. There is also toning to the pages… A rare addition to your collection.
