Dowling (later governor of American Samoa). Beginning its service in 1909 and serving in World War I, the USS Vestal was present at Pearl Harbor for the Japanese attack on Dec 7th, 1941 and while not being sunk, was struck by 2 bombs in the attack. Measures approximately 6″ x 9″ on heavy card stock.
