It was put through an XRF machine and tests as follows. Marked överbefälhavaren, Swedish for supreme commander. Symbol for military, navy, and Air Force are seen on the bottom. In the back Lagerströms Mjölby is stamped on the bottom. About 6 X 4 inches in size. Possibly quite rare, unable to find any reference pieces. Best offers to be considered. The liner consists of three leather pads held by a metal band, similar to the German M18 helmet. You can see the slight crest of this rare helmet. The helmet is 100% original and in fair condition, all original from production. Most of the M23 on sale have a finish from WW2 or after. This original 1920’s color is very rare, and so is the original 1924 marked liner. So, this is a rare and excellent addition to any helmet collection!!!!
