CHILEAN Army German Styled M35 PARADE HELMET
Original CHILEAN Army German Styled M35 PARADE HELMET. The odd thing is that the Chilean army decal is on the wrong side. Maybe a error when manufacturing? This helmet is complete with liner and chinstrap. Rare and hard to find helmet here in the US. Made of a Vulkan fiber type material, it is very light. I believe this one was manufactured in the early 90’s. These are still used ceremonially in Chilean military parades along with very German influenced uniforms. I recommend you look up on youtube. Please look at the last picture where it is beside my WW2 German M35, This gives you an idea of size and slight shape difference. The parade helmet sits taller and more narrow. WWI-1930s German Fireman’s Parade Sword Gluck Auf
A unique German Fireman’s Parade Sword from around WWI to the 1930s. This original sword has a 31 blade, slightly curved, and an intricately decorated hand guard. The blade is marked Solingen. ” The front of which has inscribed, “Gluck Auf! Meaning Good Luck in German. The scabbard is very good although the brass has been cleaned. A very small ding/crease can be seen on the scabbard’s front side but it does not detract. Handle wrapping is dull but all there and still tight and correct. The back side of the scabbard has a long hanger piece to hook the sword into a swordbelt or your own belt. A beautiful sword that displays well with any militaria or fire collection. This was used over the reefer jacket and could be used in conjunction with the dress sabre or officer’s dagger.
