Carl Zeiss Jena Dienstglas 6X30 German pre-war binoculars. The serial #1649151 would date these to 1935, according to the Camera-wiki website. Very good, vintage condition. The left eyecup has a sizeable chip in it (see last picture). It is removeable, so maybe a replacement can be found. There are some rubs to the black paint that reveals the brass underneath. Nedinscos Gravenhage Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrentis 8×30 binoculars, serial number: 1320095 , in good condition with signs of use on the body. The lenses are intact, no chips on them. Does not double the image. Includes the original case. The binoculars Nedinscos Gravenhage Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrentis 8×30 belong to the category of binoculars from the First and Second World Wars, they have been made over 90 years ago, they are a true rarity! The whole body of the binoculars is made of very hard alloy, it is extremely durable. These are Zeiss binoculars, made in the Netherlands during the First World War, with the Nedinsco’s Gravenhage inscription intact on the body, these are very rare binoculars, produced in limited quantities for the military at that time. Supposedly, no more than 3000 such binoculars were made! A very rare pair of binoculars from Carl Zeiss Jena is offered. The binoculars were brought from Finland in 1945 by a naval officer as a war trophy. The lumen is slightly clouded. VINTAGE CARL ZEISS JENA BINOCULARS 12X 20X 40X 80mm, WITH TRIPOD

Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Binoculars 12X 20X 40X 80mm, with original tripod. 12.20.40X80″ and “NO. 12820 engraved, likely built. Between WW1 and WW2. This item has been in my possession for about 40 years. It from is deceased, history is unknown. Weights and Dimensions: Binoculars: 20.5 pounds, 24″ long, 9-1/2″ wide(folded close). Tripod: 10.5 pounds, 34″ long, x 8″ x 8 (collapsed). The three different magnification levels are achieved by rotating the “oculars”. Works like a turret — each side individual. The distance between the eyepieces. Is adjustable–can be opened very wide to accommodate two observers at the. Condition (Binoculars): Left side: 12x, 20x, 40x all focus, all optics look good. (somewhat dirty), 20x and 40x are missing the screw-on. Plastic “eyepiece”, see photo nbr 10 for example. Eyepiece is there but cracked (see photo 9). Right side: 40x focuses normally, plastic eyepiece is good. 12x and 20x will not focus. 12x turns but does not move “in and out”, plastic. 20x does not seem to turn. Plastic eyepiece is missing. At some point in its life, the binocular fell and hit. When looking through both. Sides on 40x, images are clear but do not line up. General: All lenses appear to be in good shape, no scratches. Prisms must be OK since images appear properly. Tripod appears to be in perfect shape. Which fits onto the tripod swivels in and out properly. International buyers please be prepared to supply a U.
