Here is a DISPLAY Thompson M1928A. The top receiver is from IMA and is solid aluminum. The sight is a early style original Lyman. It has a very rare 1928a barrel. The wood is in great shape and has the sling swivels moved from their original locations (British modified) the swivels are the milled type. The front grip has also been checkered. I was told that the Brits did this as well. The lower receiver is a West Hurley 1928 made from aluminum. The trigger is the only internal part. No other fire control parts are insidesear, trip, etc. The safety and selector levers are the early milled type. Also included is a very nice reproduction Kerr sling and a oil can for the buttstock. Non-firing replica Browning 30 Cal. A4 Machine Gun- without tripod. It has a permanent ORANGE Muzzle Plug installed. This is a non-firing replica gun. It may have been assembled from multiple parts sources to create one display machine gun. Good condition – The metal is gray in color with a light matte finish from a mechanical source (ie soda blasting). Rust is present as a stain on the heat guard and some hinge points. There is no metal loss from rust or rust removal. The gun has been treated with Metal preserver (Gibbs) prior to packaging in bubble wrap.
