A presentation case for a Knight Commander set of the Order of St. , constructed of a wood frame with a black leather exterior, the obverse lid with a gold embossed inscription of K. The interior with a white satin-type lid liner and intact hinge cover, maker marked Garrard & Co. To the King, By Special Appointment to the Crown. With a removable slotted purple medal bed to accommodate a Knight Commanders star and smaller neck badge (2 3/8 inches wide), opening with a functional bronze spring catch with exterior stud release and dual functional metal hinges, measuring 9 inches (w) x 4 inches (l) x 1 7/8 inches (h). The exterior shows some scuffing at the corners and the bottom with light leather loss at one hinge, otherwise in very good condition. Antique Spanish Sword for Artillery Officer Model 1926. Antique Spanish sword for artillery officer model 1926, made in Spain nearly one hundred years old and in fine condition. This singular piece comes with its original steel scabbard, finely preserved and with an ancient leather garment and two light-brown colored cord braids. The sword mounts a steel blade with an engraved rectangular mark near the cross-guard. The hilt is made of black solid wood; the wood bears a hand-carved diamond pattern which improves the grip. The wooden pieces are attached to the base by rivets. The D-guard is made of golden metal, with ample bowl-shaped cross-guard decorated with a flaming bomb (symbol of the artillery corps) and openwork motifs. The sword, the scabbard and the garment are greatly preserved, making up a both authentic and attractive item. ANTIQUE (PRE WWII) USMC H & H OFFICER’s DRESS UNIFORM CAP DEVICE (EGA). This is the Marine Corps Officer’s dress cap device (EGA) used from 1919 to 1937. It was made by Hilborn-Hamburger (H & H), and as shown by the photos is in excellent condition. Although difficult to see in the photos, it is stamped with the H&H logo on the back of the eagle’s wing and what appears to be “1/20K ON/STERLING” on the cross piece of the anchor. Spanish Sword for Artillery Officer Model 1926. Beautiful Spanish sword for artillery officer model 1926, made in Spain and in fine condition. The sabers blade is made of steel and is well preserved; at the top it bears an engraved mark with the inscription ARTILLERÍA TOLEDO, together with the coat of arms of the Royal Factory of Arms located in the Spanish city. The hilt shows off a fine design, being entirely made of brass and decorated with handmade embossed and engraved motifs. The cross-guard is ample and is adorned with the embossed symbol of the artillery corps, a flaming bottle or bomb. It is trimmed by a circular quillon with an engraved flower. The pommel shows off a similar decoration and so does the D-guard. The grip mounts black wooden side plates finely preserved. The sword comes with an ancient steel scabbard, with a small flaw but in general good condition. WWI WW1 USMC Marine Corps band trumpet bugle banner 1922 vintage rare antique. Circa WWI era trumpet banner or tabard for Marine Corps buglers and trumpeters. Can be seen in the 1922 regulations (see photo) and used throughout WWII. Tabard has some mothing, see photos for details. Also appears to be some light writing on the EGA but cannot make out what it says. Overall, in great shape for being possibly up to 100 years old. Still displays very well.
