Early 20th Century US Naval Officer’s Full Dress Cocked Hat/Chapeau, Shoulder Epaulettes, and Carrying Case. Probably for a Lieutenant. According to my research, these are from the early 20th century… Condition: Very nice, with a few loose areas (see photos). 7″ L x 5 1/2″ W x 3 1/2 Fringe Length. Made by The Wm. Measures 19″ total length x 7″ Total Width x 5 1/2 Total Height. With the exception of the areas where black “fur” is rubbed off. Black exterior isn’t metal, but some kind of hard pressed material. Brass corners, hinges, latches. Purplish Velvet interior (see photos). Name on latches is Corbin. Measures 19″ x 8″ x 7. Definitely used, but in good vintage condition. I’m really proud to introduce this very rare example of history and war – on of the first soviet gas masks GP-2. Unique looking and very rare nowadays, extremely hard to find. This one is a first type (early issue) of GP-2 with the eye-lenses attached to the mask with the tape and not stitched as in a later issue of 1930s. The mask made from canvas and leather, head straps made from fabric and are in bad condition due to long storage. In few places (please see pictures), the face part still in very good condition and there is only some minor tear and rust from storage. It will be a real proud and a top-shelf item for any gas mask collector, or ww2 military collector. Well worth of investing as well as this model is extremely rare on the market.
