WWI WW1 USMC Marine Corps band trumpet bugle banner 1922 vintage rare antique. Circa WWI era trumpet banner or tabard for Marine Corps buglers and trumpeters. Can be seen in the 1922 regulations (see photo) and used throughout WWII. Tabard has some mothing, see photos for details. Also appears to be some light writing on the EGA but cannot make out what it says. Overall, in great shape for being possibly up to 100 years old. Still displays very well. Vintage British Army Hussar’s Busby Hat. There is no hat size, but is is a small size (around a size 6.5 to 7). It has some material loosen spots and the red sash has a few small holes, but overall it is still in great condition. This is a large lot of about 60 United States War Department Training Regulations manuals and supplements from the 1920s. These manuals all measure about 6 x 9 and range from single sheet to about 118 pages with most being several pages or longer. All or almost all manuals in this lot have dates from the early 1920s or mid 1930s. This lot includes the training manuals and change supplements that were issued to make changes to the original manuals with everything vintage original issued by the United States War Department during the 1920s and 1930s. The American Red Cross Motor Corps formed in 1917 to support the war effort and again during the Great Flu Pandemic of 1918. The paperwork further insinuates the clock is from 1938 (it’s also possible this was just a point of reference – I cannot say for certain). The clock measures approximately 19″ in diameter and is approximately 7″ deep. I have NOT attempted to wind the clock, so I do NOT know if it runs or not. It may or may not need service. The weight & key are included. Nor have I attempted to remove the front of the clock to observe the movement, though it is a fusee movement as visible from the side door (pictured). There is a crack on one corner of the case (pictured). One of the four “pegs” that holds the front on is missing. Further, as you can observe in the photos, the paint has faded slightly on the face.
