This is a helmet of the Dutch troops as used against the German invadors in may 1940. It was manufactured in the Netherlands by “Artillerie Inrichtingen” or “Verblifa”. Its shape is a slight different than its predecessor, the M27. The helmet retains a beautiful repro Art Deco Bronze emblem representing the Arms of the Netherlands. The green band stands for medical personnell. Rare production stamps in bowl and liner. A wonderful survivor, rarely seen in this condition.
