Russian SSh36 Hasanka combat helmet WW2, Schvartz Kaska M36. For sale is a rare USSR SSh-36 “Shvartz” helmet. This helmet was an improvement over the Adrian-type helmets primarily used by the Red Army. The M-36 was designed in 1935 by Alexander Shvartz, an officer of the Red Army. While it was expensive and too complex in manufacturing, it was aborted in 1941 in favor of the less expensive SSh-40 model. Not many of these helmets survived WW2. In good condition they are only available at very high prices. I think this helmet is a very good reproduction. I think it is suitable for re-enactment.
