1933 Polish Military Soldier Shooting Award Mantle Desk Statue Figure Krasnik! We have an interesting 1933 Polish Military Soldier Statue! The metal statue stands on a marble base. The base has two engraved plaques, the engraving is in Polish, so we have tried translating the best we could. The smaller plaque on the front reads (this is more scratched in): zdobyla przez k. Oghisko krasnik dnia 11. We think translated it means: a transit award of the commander of the poviat poviat for the best team shooting in Krasnik.. Won by the kpw oghisko krasnik of the day 1933. So we believe this may have been some type of military shooting award from the 1930s. If anyone can help further with the translation it would be greatly appreciated. A great piece of military history! About 10 1/4″ tall, the base is 6″ long. Made of metal, and marble. There are a few small nicks along the bottom edge of the marble base (nothing serious).
