Manufactured by W & L E Gurley of Troy, NY. The scope is solid brass, lens are clear and unscratched comes with 2 lens 10x & 15x, light shield and several additional lens. The leather storage case does show wear and is drying out. The straps and handle are not torn. At one time it had a shoulder carrying strap that has long disappeared. It weighs 35 pounds. WWI German Sniper Scope And Leather Case. The scope is marked C. Goerz Berlin 3 Fach” with the serial number “7872. It is approximately 11 in length and features a blued finish of which approximately 90% remains with high spot wear. The optics are clear and unclouded. The scope is housed in its original leather case but has no markings that I could find. The case shows crazing to the leather, but is quite solid. The overall condition is very good. Looks very similar to the Oigee Model Luxor. Goerz was famous for their lenses they made for cameras during the First World War. The item “C. P.
