Original 1935 Japanese Chinese Nationalist Party (Nanking) Pro Military Poster. It measures 10.5 by 15 inches, has an old tape repair to the back and some stains, but is still in great condition and a very rare poster.
Rare Spanish Civil War Calvary Officers Uniform Nationalist Complete Beret Cap. This uniform was featured in a magazine in Spain. This is also included. I’m having a son so I need to part with some of Spanish collection to make room. This is all untouched and strait from castilla la mancha. Prewar Tunic with Moroccan campaign ribbons. The beret is great has embellished tassels and ranks. Has the original pants too which are hard hard to find. Honestly it doesn’t get better than this for nationalist uniforms. This is a fabulous example of a Chinese Nationalist General Army Officer Sword which dates from the early 20th Century, and is very rare and seldom ever found in any condition. It is mounted with an INSIGNIFICANT blade that measures 29 inches in length that although has a bit of flaking to its plating, does remain in good condition. The impressive gilded guard is intricately detailed with high relief and engravings and has survived in very nice condition, continuing to wear most of its bright gold wash. The faux shell hilt also remains very nice with just one small chip near the pommel nevertheless does remain tightly in place and with all the twisted wire wrap still nicely secure. The plated metal scabbard is lightly scuffed however all the beautiful gilded fittings remain bright and nice in their condition and include the presentation which is engraved along the top edge of the top fitting. This is a good example of a Chinese Nationalist Army Dress Dagger. It is mounted with a heavy straight blade that measures 10 1/4 inches in length which is a bit stained but overall remains in good condition. It wears pretty brass fittings which are nicely embossed that accentuate a faux shell hilt. Interestingly, the hilt has been personalized with cut glass stones of which six of the original ten still remain. The metal scabbard also wears pretty detailed brass fittings and although has a few small dings, does remain in good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 15 1/2 inches in length. The blade is uncleaned with light surface staining, nevertheless is strong and in good condition. It wears pretty detailed brass fittings which are nicely embossed with a hilt that is now faded and weathered in its condition. The metal scabbard also wears pretty detailed brass fittings and although has a few dings, does remain in serviceable condition. Overall measuring 15 3/4 inches in length.
