Pattern 1892 enlisted cover emblem. This particular variant was produced by the firm of NS Meyers, and the Meyers shield can be seen stamped in the rear left wing. On the right wing is marked’ACID TEST’. While I’m not familiar with that the test itself entailed, this mark can be seen on insignias of the late 20s-30s. Beautiful and scarcely see variant.
