This is an excellent example of an uncommon Erfurt 1920 rework model 1914. It either started life as a military or artillery model as both models had the cutout for the rear sight on the artillery models. Overall the bluing on the gun is excellent and does not appear refinished. Also the straw on the extractor is excellent. This does come complete with a toggle pin so this is a drop and go assembly on your frame either as a shooter or as an uncommon example of this model. Another thing that makes this a unique piece is that it is an all numbers matching to the best of my knowledge. German Officers and non-commissioned Officers Air Force Complete Dagger 1937. The blade is steel, straight, flat, hexagonal. Two cutting edges polished, no heel. The handle is round, wooden, plastic-topped orange. By spiral grooves handle wrapped with wire. At the bottom of a cylindrical sleeve, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Spherical head handle, molded together with the upper nut. Decorated on both sides of the relief image of a swas and an ornament from oak leaves. The head is screwed onto the blade shank and has a flat circular top a button. Cross-cast, from the front side in the form of a flying eagle carrying a swas in its claws.
