A slight different than its predecessor, the M27. The helmet retains its beautiful Art Deco Bronze emblem representing the Arms of the Netherlands. For sale is an absolute fine example of the Greek M34-39 steel combat helmet. This Italian made helmet was ordered by the Greek government shortly before the Italian invasion of Greece. The consignment was never completed. The helmets were delivered without liner and without paint. The Greek liner shows a Greek cross surmounted by a crown and the size of the helmet (57 in this case) and the words Greek Army in greek alphabet. This helmet has a very smooth and complete original liner. The bowl is finished in the original paint. You can see some scratches on the pictures. This helmet was manufactured in NLD by “Artillerie Inrichtingen” and its shape differs slightly from its successor, the M34. It has an Art Deco Bronze emblem representing the coat of Arms of the Netherlands. It still has the Original color from production. This shell is from production year 1933, so says the production stamp in the bowl’33I I stands for steel plate of production. A wonderful survivor, rarely seen in this condition. Sie bieten auf einen Helm der niederländischen Truppen des Zweiten Weltkriegs, wie er im Mai 1940 gegen deutsche Invasoren eingesetzt wurde. Dieser Helm wurde in NLD von der “Artillerie Inrichtingen” hergestellt und unterscheidet sich in seiner Form geringfügig von seinem Nachfolger, dem M34. Es hat ein Art Deco Bronze Emblem, das das niederländische Wappen darstellt. Es hat noch die Originalfarbe aus der Produktion. Diese Muschel stammt aus dem Produktionsjahr 1933, so der Produktionsstempel in der Schüssel’33I I steht für Stahlblech der Produktion.
