This is the traditional design authorized by regulation and a copy of the design authorized by the Government when they created the “From Official Die” concept in the mid 20’s. 1920’s-1930’s era USN Officer’s Submariner Badge, full size, pin back, with stabilizing needle attached to Conning Tower. This is the very early style of Submariner’s badge which came into being in it’s metal form in the early 1920’s-1924, I believe. This badge is hallmarked “Myrgold” and is a very scarce badge.
