The paperwork further insinuates the clock is from 1938 (it’s also possible this was just a point of reference – I cannot say for certain). The clock measures approximately 19″ in diameter and is approximately 7″ deep. I have NOT attempted to wind the clock, so I do NOT know if it runs or not. It may or may not need service. The weight & key are included. Nor have I attempted to remove the front of the clock to observe the movement, though it is a fusee movement as visible from the side door (pictured). There is a crack on one corner of the case (pictured). One of the four “pegs” that holds the front on is missing. Further, as you can observe in the photos, the paint has faded slightly on the face. There is also some light crazing to the paint on the face. The item “1938 RAF Operations Room Sector Clock Royal Air Force UK Pre-WW2 Vintage” is in sale since Thursday, October 29, 2020.
