This scene appears to be an open house, of sorts, to those who were invited to view the airship after the completion of her construction. Los Angeles was flown to NAS Anacostia, Washington, D. Where she was commissioned into the United States Navy on 24 November 1924. Well use age related wear that does not mar the image of the Los Angeles and its admirers.
