The dagger is in very good used condition. Rare KingdomYugoslavia Dress dagger M-1939 was introduced 1939 for high rank ARMY officers. On the ricasso of the blade there is etched Yugoslav emblem (Crowned doubleheaded eagle). Last use of the daggers was in the short war againstGermany in April 1941 at beginning of WW2 in Yugoslavia. After fall ofYugoslavia Croatian officers used this dagger (only a few months) but theYugoslav emblem was changed with Croatian. It means that this rare dagger wasin use only a short period of about 2 years.
