Thompson SMG Display 1928A
Here is a DISPLAY Thompson M1928A. The top receiver is from IMA and is solid aluminum. The sight is a early style original Lyman. It has a very rare 1928a barrel. The wood is in great shape and has the sling swivels moved from their original locations (British modified) the swivels are the milled type. The front grip has also been checkered. I was told that the Brits did this as well. The lower receiver is a West Hurley 1928 made from aluminum. The trigger is the only internal part. No other fire control parts are insidesear, trip, etc. The safety and selector levers are the early milled type. Also included is a very nice reproduction Kerr sling and a oil can for the buttstock.
